Signs around the house.

Hi there to all my prim friends , Iam still very anxiously awaiting the big giveaway day only 8 more days to go. I have been looking for things to blog on cause lets face it everyone doesn't have an exciting life.... We have had alot of snow so I have been stuck at home alot with the kids ...I may be bald by now but I wont post a picture of that....claustrophobia has set in on the home front....LOL...Well I came up with nothing but  I thought I could show you some signs from around the house.....So here are some, not all cause I really like signs if that tells you anything ...Iam a collector....or hoarder if that's what you wanna call it I haven't caught on yet to the simplifying I hear alot of you girls talking about..lol Well better stop boring you to death with all my rambling and get to the pics.

Help...my boring laundry room / with pics

Help...............My laundry room needs a makeover . I spent last night collecting things around the house that I thought would fit in there but I just cant seem to get it looking like the ones I have seen on some of my favorite sites. So I need help what would you gals suggest for my laundry room. I need to know before I hit the peddlers mall. Oh my pic didn't include the washtub I drug in from outside its drying on a towel in the mud room. I know I need a laundry room sign but what else Iam stumped? whats your thoughts on border? Oh and the Christmas stuff is getting out of there too... So what should go in that wood box ? Well until next time may the lord bless you and I hope everyone has a great Christmas .....April.......

Dear Santa , Here is my prim wish list

I was thinking today about when I was a kid getting all ready for Christmas. The thing I remember most is visiting Santa at the mall every year and the all important letter to Santa. Well Iam sure now that Iam 28 my wish list has changed just a bit ....So for the fun of it and to pass the time on my blog till the big day of my drawing for my giveaway I think I Will make my prim Christmas wish list....lol ...I saw this  on another blog a long time ago and it seemed fun but now seems to be the perfect time to make my list since Santa....aka my hubby sometimes needs to be guided to my perfect gift which isn't in the jewelry or perfume department... So honey hope your paying attention only a few days till Christmas......   P.S    if its old worn or grungy its for me, So Santa no walmart...unless your buying homespun fabric...LOL

Waiting on a baptism

Hello, I already posted today but I thought everyone would want to hear my great news concerning a few of my kids . Well first off my 14 year old got save about 2 weeks ago . Then last week my 12 year old son went to the alter and also decided he wanted the lord in his life ... Well the most awakening thing for me was when my 6 year old daughter sat crying wanting to go up and sing with the adults ... So of course she went up and sang the best she could smiling back at her daddy and me the whole time. When they got done singing and all came back the preacher asked if anyone had anything in there heart She raised her hand like she was in class stood up and said ( Ive got Jesus in my heart) At that point I had tears in my eyes . Well she ended up going up and praying she said she got saved ... It is amazing to me that there are so many adults out there lost but a six year old feels the love of the lord so strong in her heart and knows he is real. She has been so happy She even told me that she went to school and told everyone . I know that children are already going to heaven but I couldn't tell her not to do what god put upon her heart.They haven't got to get baptised yet due to weather here but as soon as they do I will be sure to post pics.  My children , well all children can feel the love of god ... Iam just so so thankful for all these blessings .Till next time take care and God bless all my prim friends.

A makeover as promised

Hello fellow prim friends, As promised in my last post I was gonna work on getting a makeover done on a old writing desk my mom gave me. Well after alot , I mean alot of wood chipping and sanding I have finally got it semi finished. I still lack the sanding off and stain but it is coming along.

The finished well almost finished product is gonna be put under a wall that Iam going to  fill with game boards. I better make this post short I have alot of laundry tonight ... So may the lord guide you in all your  day Take care till next time your prim friend  .............April

A little bit of this and that!

Well Thanksgiving has now come and gone leaving me with two things Happiness and about 10 pounds...LOL . I had a very nice  Thanksgiving  Alot of my family came and enjoyed dinner with us. My mom bless her heart wasn't feeling her best but still managed to gather up some goodies to bring along for me . I will be posting pics of the desk she brought I'am going to do a makeover on it I will post the before  and afters .

A homemade stitchery and A recipe

I was finally able to get one little craft done last night . Thought I would share it . Here is the smallest one I'am pretty proud of it considering I had never stitched before and it was 1 am .  I think it started to go a little side ways ..  LOL             And A thankfull note my husbands granny has cancer and was in alot of pain I requested prayer for her and her pain has eased off and she has been less weak . She will be 97 in december she is a loving christian woman .. She has been a real light to my self and many others.. Thank you lord for her, may you bless her many more days.          

  VEGETABLE CASSEROLE               

2 bags vegetable medley / carrots, broccoli,cauliflower

1can cream of mushroom soup

                                                   1 small garden vegetable cream cheese

                                                           1small bag croutons/ any flavor you prefer

                                                                                     Directions

Cook vegetables till tender. In a large bowl mix cream of mushroom soup vegetables and cream cheese till blended but not mashed. Now in a casserole dish spread mixture . crush croutons in bag lightly, add over mixture. bake on 350 for about 35 min .

updates from 2010

Well where to start , I just started this blog so I guess I will just fill you in on what all has happened in my life up till now.  To start I had just got everthing prim and the way I like it when my family was struck on July 21 2010 with disaster . At 2 am I woke to use the bathroom and realized that we where getting flooded . I woke all my kids and hubby and we tried to make it to safety at this point my mobile home was being lift up and water was coming through the  vents ... Scary to say the least, I have never been in any situation like that before and hope to never be again. Well after we got all our kids out my husband heard our neighbors hollering and he went after them. There mobile home was moved off the foundation pushed about 100 feet across the road and was stuck with 2 still inside The mother had been sucked out the back door my husband got to her first then went back to the two adult children they where inside and the water was up to the window midway . My husband got the guy to knock the door open a flood of water came out at him well to make a long story short he did get them all out despite the dangers of houses being washed by him and blowing up when they hit the tree's. When the water started to go down and it got day light my heart sank all we ever had was gone all that was left was the muddy clothes we had on and a pile debre and mud .When I think back to all that happened Iam just thankful the lord was there that night .He woke me just in time to wake everyone . My 4 littlest girls where also in a little tent they got from there granny it was zipped twice they would have never made it...( SO thank you Lord For everything you have done for our family.)Another blessing is my husband was saved and Baptised Another blessing for my family . My husband was on a road to destruction drinking , and alot of other stuff, well the good lord took it all  off of him and he has been full of life and love ever since ( Thank you again Lord).I dont think I will ever be able to say thank you enough. Our home was gone but we had the lord and eachother and it took about 2 months but we did get another home and we are very thankful. We started over but I think that the lord had a plan for our lives. I still think of that night almost ever day and relize there is always something to be thankfull for! So I will end for now saying be so ever thankfull for everything and every moment you have . Love the lord family friends and neighbors and always remeber he is the reason where here.
